Ali Meets APC Stakeholders, Lawmakers Others in Lokoja,Says Unity and prosperity Of The Constituency Matter Most

The chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC) Stakeholders Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency, Alhaji Sulaiman Baba Ali told members,leaders and Lawmakers from the area that the unity, progress and prosperity of the constituent will matter most to him as leader of the party.

Ali, who made his feelings known at APC stakeholders meeting on Sunday with the APC leaders at his GRA residence, Lokoja, expressed delight that members of the party in the area delivered the APC flagbearer, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo at the just concluded Gubernatorial election.

He thanked members and leadership of the party led by Rt, Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, speaker Kogi state House of assembly,Hon Saidu Akawu Salihu,the Galadima Igu of koton karfe, Engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Hon commissioner for Sold mineral resources “for their contributions towards the success of APC candidate and his running mate.

‘‘I want to thank members and supporters for the roles you played in the build-up, during and after the election” Ali Said.

The APC Leader further stated that the cohesion and unity of the party members is his first priority and ambition, and appealed to political office seekers to set aside self,- serving interests.

He expressed confidence that Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo would not disappoint the party and Kogi/ Lokoja federal Constituency at large.

In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, speaker of Kogi state House of assembly,
lauded party members for their resilient and support.

The meeting was attended by Hon Saidu Akawu Salihu, deputy leader APC stakeholders, lawmakers,top government officials and party supporters across Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency.
