The Deputy Commissioner of police and Cigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sanusi, former lawmaker representing Lokoja 1 Constituency,Hon Isah Tanimu Umar, Secretary, Kogi state council of ulama’u, Alhaji Baba’ango Idris, former speaker, Kogi state House of assembly, Rt. Hon. Umar Imam and top management staff of NIWA were among the guests that graced the wedding Fatiha of NIWA General Manager corporate Affairs, Alhaji JIbril Darda’u’s Son,Barr. Darda’u JIbril and Hajara Mu’azu which took place in Lokoja on Saturday.
The wedding fatiha which took place at late Alhaji Mu’azu Sarkin Fawa Yaro’s residence, Lokoja, was presided over by the chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Muhammadu Aminu Sha’aban.
Sha’aban, who consummated the marriage after the fulfilment of all requirements of Islamic marriage and payment of Dowry by the representative of the groom admonished parents to teach their children Islamic norms.
DCP Ahmed in an interview with journalists, congratulated the couples for a pleasant and historic wedding fatiha and
charged them to remain prayerful, fear Allah and respect their marital vows to guarantee lasting peace and happiness in their relationship.
Father of the groom, Alhaji Darda’u,who was overwhelmed by the numbers of guests that attended the event, expressed his gratitude to all those that attended the event.
