Former Secretary, Kogi state Council Of NUJ, Comrade Adamu Seidu Haruna has emerged as the Chairman of Nigeria Union Of Journalists, Kogi state Council.
Haruna and other members of the Council who were sworn-in on Thursday,includes:Comrade Ibrahim Obansa, Vice chairman,Adeyemi Olusegun, Secretary and Atuluku Samuel, Assistant Secretary.
Others are, Sunday adebija, treasurer, Abdulsalam Muhammad, Financial secretary and Mrs Ali Josephine,Auditor.
The newly elected Executives who emerged unopposed will be administering the affairs of the NUJ within the next three years.
The chairman in his acceptance speech thanked his predecessor,comrade Adeiza Momojimoh, and promised to sustain his legacies.
