WELCOME REMARKS BY MR MATHIAS OKPANACHI, CHAIRPERSON, KOGI BUDGET COMMITTEE GROUP AT A 1-DAY STATE LEVEL CONSULTATIVE MEETING ON “THE 2023/2024 AGRICULTURE BUDGET PROCESS AND IMPLEMENTATION IN KOGI STATE” HELD AT REVERTON HOTEL LOKOJA ON TUESDAY,21ST NOVEMBER, 2023.

Good morning esteemed Stakeholders in agriculture, my amiable committee members, and SWOFON members present. I’m delighted to welcome you to this consultative meeting. As we convene today, it is with a shared sense of purpose and determination to propel our agricultural endeavors to new heights.

Your presence here is not just an attendance; it is a testament to your commitment to the vitality and prosperity of the agricultural landscape

In order to stimulate the development of the sector in Nigeria and ensure that the government positions it in the forefront of national development, ActionAid Nigeria through the SUPIA (Scaling Up Public Investment in Agnculture) project is supporting the Kog: State Budget Committee Group and the Kogi State Small Holder Women Farmers (SWOFON) to build community capacity to engage the financing and development of Agnculture in Nigeria, especially in Kogi State.
