APC Leaders Optimistic About Ododo’s Victory in Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency

The All Progressives Congress, (APC) leaders in Lokoja /Kogi federal Constituency has expressed optimism about winning the Constituent in the forthcoming November Gubernatorial election.

The party’s Leader,Hon Suleiman Baba Ali, stated this at the Kogi /Lokoja federal Constituency meeting in Koton karfe,on Sunday.

Ali,who expressed confidence in Ododo’s Victory at the November poll,added that the attendance at Sunday’s meeting in Koton karfe has confirmed his optimism.

“The popularity of the APC candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency is very high. The joint meeting in koton karfe today has confirmed that our party is ready for the November 11 Governorship election.

“The people you saw during the meeting are pure party members from all parts of the constituent. We did not hire people to come to the meeting,it’s not a campaign rally, these are people who are on ground and who are ready to vote for our party once the election comes.” he said.

In his goodwill message,the senator representing Kogi West senatorial District, Senator Steven Sunday Karimi thanked the people of Kogi Local Government for the confidence responded on him through their votes in February election.

The lawmaker assured the meeting of his determination to deliver the dividends of democracy and urged them to vote for the ruling APC in the forthcoming November governorship election.

Also speaking,deputy constituency leader,Hon Sai’du Akawu Salihu,said in kogi local government in particular and Lokoja /Kogi federal Constituency in general,the people are determined to deliver Usman Ododo.

“we are very prepared for the coming election and we hope that victory is ours. You have seen the huge crowd, it’s just a meeting not a campaign rally , with the large turnout,APC still got that number of supporters in Kogi local government area.”Akawu Said.

Executive chairman of Kogi Local Council, Hon Aliyu Daudà, expressed confidence that APC will emerge victorious come November governorship election.

He appealed to youths in the area to maintain peace, before during and after the election.

Dauda commended governor Yahaya Bello for nominating Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the APC frontrunner.

The council boss reiterated his commitments towards delivery Ododo who he said would consolidate on the laudable achievements of governor Bello.

The meeting was attended by, Alhaji Sulaiman Baba Ali,Hon Sai’du Akawu Salihu, Senator Steven Sunday Karimi,Speaker Kogi state House of assembly, RT Hon. Aliyu Yusuf Umar and Engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu.

Others are: Hon Suleiman Babadoko,Mabo Kasim, Shatima of Lokoja, lawmaker makers and political appointees among others.
