Kogi Speaker Receives Former PDP Members Into APC

The speaker Kogi state House, Rt. Hon.Aliyu Umar Yusuf, Thursday received representatives of PDP decampess numbering over 100 from ward D to APC at Speaker’s Lodge, Lokoja.

In his remarks, Rt.Hon.Yusuf reassured all the decampess that the party Will carry them along and will do all the needful to make them comfortable same way the other card carrying members of the APC in the Wards and the local government at large

Yusuf assured them of Governor Bello’s commitment in ensuring that the Sadauna junction – Unguwan Kura road is completed.

He commended them for their resilient and foresight adding that APC is the only party that would deliver the dividends of democracy to the doors steps of kogites.

” As you’re all aware,the gubernatorial election is coming up in less than one month,I want you to go back to your various polling units to make sure you deliver APC flagbearer, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his running mate Comrade Salifu Oyibo Joel so that we can charge the tide” he said.

Earlier, Spokesman of the group, Hon. Muhammed Zakari a.k.a Akwayka, commended the speaker for appointing Malam Salisu Datti,as the director of protocol.

Zakari maintained further that this singular gestures by the Right Honourable Speaker would be reciprocate by ward D, come November 11, Governorship election.
” We’ll reciprocate by casting our votes for you, because voting for you is voting for APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo,” he said.

The event was graced by the majority leader, Hon.Sulaiman Abdulrasaq and Hon.
Sam Olawomi Jacob, member representing Mopa /Amoru constituency,who delivered the vote of thanks.

Others are: APC Lokoja local government chairman, Hon Maikudi Bature, Alhaji Baba sarkin makada, Alhaji Umma Babadoko, women groups among others.
