With countdown to the November 11, 2023 Governorship election Kogi state, Nigeria Motorcycle Transport Union (NMTU) Kogi state Chapter, have endorsed candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comrade Salifu Oyibo Joel.
This was made known by the state Chairman of NMTU,Comrade Gimba Ibrahim in an interview with journalists in Lokoja on Wednesday.
The chairman said motorcycle Transporters in the state under his leadership unanimously agreed to work and mobilize for landslide victory of Ododo at the forthcoming election
“I therefore, implore all okada riders to go out and vote massively for APC come November 11 2023” he said
According to him, the union unanimously came up with their resolution,which he said was based on the laudable achievements of governor Yahaya, especially on security and infrastructural development.
Comrade Ibrahim expressed confidence that the Ododo’s election will attract more developmental projects to the people of Oworo, Lokoja 2, Constituency as well as the state in general.
That’s why,“We are solidly, proudly and firmly standing with Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, our hardworking APC flagbearer”, he said.
