•••Reiterate Commitments To Deliver APC

The Speaker of Kogi state House of Assembly, Rt Hon.Aliyu Umar Yusuf, has called on Lokoja and Kogi Local Government areas to come out en masse to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC)Governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Running mate, Salifu Oyibo Joel in the November 11 governorship elections.
Yusuf made the called at an expanded APC stakeholders and political appointees meeting held at the APC, local government secretariat, Lokoja,on Monday.
He maintained that Kogi/ Lokoja federal Constituency people deserve a tested and trusted candidate as governor in the person of the APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to consolidate on the laudable achievements of governor Yahaya Bello.
He urged “Lokoja Indigenes whom he described as”our Parents” to go out massively and campaign vigorously for APC and it standardbearer to emerge victorious at the polls.”
He said “ododo has the capacity to take kogi State to another level of development and deserves to be given the mandate of the people.”
The lawmaker reiterated his commitment towards the welfare and development of Lokoja and the entire state.
“This is another opportunity given to all of us,as speaker, let me use this medium to appeal to all of us, that the forthcoming election is a task that must be accomplished.
We must deliver our various wards, it’ll give us the opportunity to fight for whatever belong to us in the new administration” he said
The meeting was graced by Hon Suleiman Danladi Aguye, member representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency,Hon Tijjani Bin-Ebiya Shehu, member representing Lokoja 1 Constituency, Executive chairman Lokoja local government, Hon Danasabe Muhammed Danasabe, APC Lokoja local chairman, Hon Maikudi Bature, Suleiman Babadoko, political office holders and critical APC stakeholders for the area among others.
Highlights of the event includes:,the reception of hundreds of PDP leaders and followers from Lokoja local government area.
