A chieftain of All Progressive Congress(APC) in kogi and Coordinator of Former local government Administrators ,Hon. Abel Egunubi have intensified his drive to secure victory for the party’s governorship candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo .
Egunubi, who were at the Muhammadu Buhari Square Lokoja, venue of the APC Governorship campaign flag off on Sunday, were unanimous that the ruling party has the candidates that would drive development in kogi if given the mandates.
Egunubi said that Eastern Senatorial district where he comes from should not be found missing in the victory basket of the APC Governorship standard bearer, adding that the state would gain a lot by playing politics at the centre.
He reminded kogites that there were strong indications that Ododo would be the next Governor of Kogi state hence the need for us to go the way of APC.
He urged kogites not to be discouraged by the hardship caused by the removal of subsidy, saying the economic measures was taken to return Nigeria to economic development.
Abel, a Chattered Accountant by profession, therefore made a passionate appeal to Electorates in the state to reciprocate the favours they have received from APC led administration under the leadership of governor Yahaya Bello by supporting Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the forthcoming November 11 Governorship election.
