Fast growing Non governmental organisation in Lokoja local government, Anguwan Fawa Progressive Youth Forum(APPYF) Lokoja, on Sunday celebrated its 5year anniversary, Scholarship Award and Launching of New Almanac amidst pomp and fanfare at unguwan Fawa, in Lokoja local government area.
Guests included the speaker Kogi state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Umar Aliyu Yusuf,a.k.a Assignment,as the chairman and special guest of honour,member Representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency, Hon Suleiman Danladi Aguye, lawmaker Representing Lokoja 1 Constituency,Hon Tijjani Bin-Ebiya Shehu,the APC chairman,hon Maikudi Bature.
The lawmakers were represented by Hon Abdullahi Adamu.
Also in attendance are: Hakimi of ward D,Isah Nasidi, ustaz Gimba Yabagi, Waziri of Lokoja, Abdulrahman Idi and Alhaji Nda Attahiru, MD. NDA Motors.
Others are: Alhaji Idris Baba’ango,Alhaji Jibrin Darda’u, the General Manager, Corporate Affairs of NIWA, Alhaji Sagir Muhammad Abdulsalam and hosts of others.
Highlights of the event includes awards of Scholarship to indigent students, donations by well spirited individuals who also awarded personal scholarship for primary school pupils, particular Orphans.
The member representing Lokoja Kogi federal Constituency, Sulaiman Danladi Aguye, donated the sum of N50,000 Speaker KGHA,Rt Hon. Yusuf,N300,00while the APC chairman, Bature donate the sum of N20,000 on behalf of the party and another N20,000 on behalf of himself and his family.
Others are: MD Nda Motors,N20,000 , Tijjani Bin-Ebiya Shehu,N 20,000 , former Speaker KGHA Rt. Hon. Imam,N20,000 ,guest lecturer, Alhaji Alfa Gimba,awarded scholarship for two secondary students and N10,000 and a hosts of others.

In the Name of Allah, The most Beneficent The Most Merciful. Glory is To Allah The Creator Of The Universe ,May The Peace And Blessing Of Allah Be Upon Our Prophet Muhammad ( saw) ameen.
Permit me at this junction to welcome the chairman of the occasion RT Hon, Aliyu Umar Yusuf (Assignment) guest lecturer, Alh. Alfa Gimba Yabagi, Distinguish guest, ladies and gentle men.
Anguwan Pawa Progressive youth forum was created on the 24th of September, 2018, it is a non-profitable association established to render selfless services and contribution to orphans, widows. Less privilege and the community at large.
This noble association by the grace of God has settle the medical bills of one Hauwa and others, the noble association has for long been embarking on street general sanitation on various areas of
ward D and other wards to be included, the association through its members personal financial contribution has succeeded in providing scholarships to at least 50 pupils in different public/ private schools within Lokoja and by the grace of God, it will be extended to secondary schools and tertiary institutions.
The association is embarking on visitation to hospital, prisons, provision of food stuffs to the-prisoners, and construction of boreholes each in every ward within Lokoja.
We request for your contributions and financial assistance so we can accomplish’ these ambitions together, we are calling on our parents, religious leaders, traditional leaders, political offices holders and government at large to contribute immensely towards
The development of our aims and objectives which are benefits to our teaming less privileged in our community.
I want to use this medium to call on youths to deviate, abstain completely from Violence, drug and any act capable of tarnishing the image of our parents, your religion and the state at large.
Be useful to your parents, yourself and the society, be an ambassador of peace, the youths are always the leaders of tomorrow not just leaders but good leaders. Let strive to actualise this dream
