Ex -PDP KHA Assembly Candidate, Ganaja Gives Reasons For Defecting To APC

A Chieftain of people’s Democratic Party (PDP)and House of Assembly Candidate for Ajaokuta State Constituency in the 2023 election, Prince Muhammed Haruna Ganaja, who recently defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state with his teaming supporters has said the movement was out of their conviction that “the road has closed for PDP in kogi State now.”

Ganaja who contested under the banner of PDP twice, spoke with ThEANLYSTNG at his country home, Ganaja in Ajaokuta Local Government Area

He further said that the PDP, as it stands, this time, has no candidate to challenge the APC’s Governorship flagbearer Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo incumbent in the November 11, 2023 governorship election.

The former PDP chieftain maintained further that his defection and his teaming supporters was to brighten the prospects for the emergence of Ododo who according to him would sustained the tremendous achievements of governor Yahaya Bello.

He called on his teaming follower on the need to vote massively for APC at the forthcoming November governorship election

It only the ruling Party that can provide the dividends of democracy,I urge you all to vote for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo so that he’ll continue with the development strides lay down by His Excellency governor Yahaya Adoza Bello ” he said.

For us to have dividends of democracy at our door steps,we must support the Alhaji Usman Ododo, because the party represents our hope to build a new Ajaokuta local government and the circumstances we found ourselves in PDP actually convinced us that the end of the road has come.he said.
