The member Representing Lokoja /Kogi federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye, on Wednesday, approved the appointments aides and special assistants across the two local government areas .
According to a press statement signed by the newly appointed media Aide, Hon. Ibrahim S Nuhu,a.k.a Candid Ibrahim Shuiabu, in Lokoja, said the appointments were made in a bid to quicken the pace of provision of dividends of democracy and deliver of the lawmaker’s campaign promises
The statement added that, “The appointments are based on the proven track records of the appointees, their commitment to the service of Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency and the Agenda of the current lawmaker’s people oriented programmes.
The Special assistants which were picked from various wards includes:
Muhammed Hamisu Sani, Ukwo Ward, Zakari Tanimu Ibrahim, Irenodu Ward, Isah Usman Bala,Akpasu Ward and Shaibu Musa from Gegu-South Ward.
Others are: Abdulkarim Isah Akoza, Gegu-North Ward, Suleiman Zakari,Girinya Ward, Yakubu Mubarak, Chikara-South Ward and Ayuba Gyebo, Chikara-North Ward.
Also appointed includes,Saidu Aliyu Bala,Koton-Karfe South-East Ward, Adamu Ismaila, Tawari Ward, Attahiru Abdulazeez Aliyu, Girinya Ward and Ade Majebi from Oworo Ward.
Ahmed Muhammed, Ward B, Ismaila, Shehu, Kupa-South Ward, Salihu Umar, Kupa-North Ward, Abubakar Taofik, Oworo Ward and Yakubu Audu from Ward E.
Also appointed are: Usman Ibrahim, Eggan Ward, Khadijat Muhammed, Odaki Ward, Muhammed Idris Alfa, Ward E, Abubakar Mustapha from Ward A, Usman Salihu Kananda Ward and Gimba Yahaya Ohete from Oworo Ward.
While Muhammed Tanimu was picked from Ward B, Muhammed Gambo Babi, Ward D, Aliu Idris Waziri, Ward D, Adamu Kabiru from Ward B and Isa Muhammed Shaban from Ukwo Ward.
All the appointees were presented with their letters of appointment approved by Hon Suleiman Danladi Aguye, in a brief ceremony,in Lokoja.
The lawmaker while congratulating appointees charged them to discharge their responsibilities for the interest of Lokoja Kogi federal Constituency and the state at large.
