As Kogi state
prepares for 2023 November governorship election, major stakeholders in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency under the leadership of Hon. Suleiman Baba Ali,on Tuesday converged at Reverton Hotel , Lokoja, for a crucial meeting said they would mobilize and ensure that the Governorship candidate of the party, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is impressively voted for in the zone to win the forthcoming November 11 Governorship election..
In his opening addressed, Chairman, Lokoja Kogi federal Constituency APC Stakeholders, Hon Suleiman Baba Ali while welcoming party leaders,former lawmakers and party faithful from the area said there’s need to unite for the benefit of of Lokoja and Kogi local government areas ahead of November governorship election.
He announced further that APC ladders from the areas at their meeting, resolved need to bring all the aggrieved Members of the party together as all party members are important ” we must work in our various wards and polling units for the victory of the party, it’ll enable us to demand for the dividends of democracy. We must not just deliver but to deliver very impressively” Ali said.
Ali, who was overwhelmed by the large turnout for the meeting, reminded APC supporters to be proactive as the election is very near.
The meeting was attended by the speaker, Kogi state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, member representing Lokoja 1 Constituency, Hon Tijjani Shehu Bin-Ebiya, SUBEB Chairman, Hon Suleiman Ndalayi , Engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu and Hon Saidu Akawu Salihu.
Others includes: hon Idris Ndako,Hon Isah Umar, Sulaiman Babadoko,former member representing Lokoja Kogi federal Constituency,Hon Haruna Isah.
Others are: executive chairman Lokoja local government,Hon . Danasabe Muhammed Danasabe and his counterpart from Kogi local government area among host of other.
