The lawmaker Representing Lokoja 1Constituemcy,Hon Tijjani Bin-Ebiya Shehu, has congratulated the member Representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency in green chamber, Hon Suleiman Danladi Aguye over the judgment of the National assembly tribunal which upheld his victory at the February,2023 National Assembly election.
In a statement signed by Hon Shehu and made available to THEANALYSTNG on Tuesday, in Lokoja, said that the jubilation that erupted in Lokoja and Kogi Local Government areas on the heels of the judgement showed that Aguye mandate came from the people.
“Hon. Aguye’s triumph at the tribunal is victory for democracy and a resounding affirmation of the expressed Will of the people of Lokoja and Kogi local governments in their quest for purposeful representation and responsible leadership in the constituents.
“The jubilations which welcome the verdict is a testament of the fact that Hon. Aguye’s election is not only a reflection of the aspiration of the majority of the people of Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency but also that of of lovers of democracy across the state” he said
Shehu, who congratulated Aguye urged him to continue in repositioning the constituent by giving the people the breath of fresh air that eluded them for abysmal PDP representation in the green chamber.
