Kogi Guber: APC Flagbearer,Ododo Pays Advocacy Visit To JNI,Solicit For Prayer Ahead of November Election

The Flag bearer of All Progressives Congress at the November Eleven Governorship election in Kogi State, Hon. Ahmed Usman Ododo has called for massive support for his ticket.

This was contained via a statement signed by Suleiman Ibrahim and made available to THEANALYSTNG today in Lokoja.

Ododo who made the called during a visit to Jama’atul Nasarul Islam ( JNI) office in Lokoja, appealed to the organisation for prayers over the forthcoming November

He further said he was going round to ask for prayer support and there was no way JNI would be left out stressing that he was not at the JNI Secretariat to campaign but show maximum respect to his religious Leaders by informing them of his God endowed mandate.

The Governorship hopeful declared that the ticket he is holding is a trust from God hence the need for the people of Kogi State to unite for it’s success in November.
He promised to do justice to all manner of people if given the opportunity and called on Muslim Leaders to pray fervently for his victory.

In an introductory remark, the Leader of Team Ododo’s delegation and Commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy Affairs,Momodu Deedat Ozigi extolled the qualities of Alhaji Ododo stressing that Governor Yahaya Bello has not made a wrong choice for the People of Kogi State hence his victory at the primary election.

Responding, the State Chairman of JNI, Ambassador Usman Bello thanked the Candidate of APC, Alhaji Usman Ododo for identifying with the Islamic body and promised to pray for the success of his mandate.

Present at the event was Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Communication who set the tone for the event, that of Solid minerals, Bashiru Gegu, Victor Omofaiye of Environment, Secretary JNI, Kogi State,, Alhaji Isa Adeboye and Representatives of many Islamic Organizations who took turn to pledge their prayer support.
