Kogi Guber Election: Bukky Appeals To NNPP Leadership To Obey Court Order

Kogi west NNPP Senatorial candidate in last Election, Hon. Abubakar Ibuku Muhammed Bukky, has called on the National leader of the party, senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to obey the court orders directing the electoral body to replace the former Kogi Governorship Candidate in the November 11 Guber election, Musa Mubarak and replace him with Hon.Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa.

Addressing newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday,Bukky described the delayed and repose by the party leadership to replace NNPP Guber candidate, Mubarak as politically motivated which may led to the defect of the party in November governorship election in kogi.

He maintained that the party primary election that brought Mubarak didn’t complied with the electoral act 2022, stressing that the judgement delivered by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja, on Tuesday, declaring Hassan Abdullahi, as the validly elected candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), for the November 11 governorship election for Kogi state,confirmed his assertion.

Bukky,who described senator Kwankwaso as a patriotic politician who stands for justice and fairness, appealed to him to add his voice for the interest of the party in kogi state.

He called on the party supporters in the state to remain calm and law abiding citizens as he’s optimistic that the NNPP would emerge victorious come November 11 Guber election.

Bukky who aspired to represent Kogi west at the senate, thanked the people of Kogi west for the support he received during and after the election.
