A mammoth Crowd of Social Democratic Party supporters yesterday,graced the launch of the party’s Governorship campaign for the November 11 Guber election in kogi state.
The event took at Idah in kogi East senatorial District, adding that the crowd consists of supporters of the party across the state and other Sympathisers of the candidate.
The SDP flagbearer, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka and his running mate, Honour Sam Ranti Abenemi,commended the massive support and large crowd of party faithful for attending the event.
Ajaka urged the people of the state to vote him, saying that he’ll introduce projects, policies and programmes for the even development of the state.
He commended the people for remaining loyal to SDP in the state and urged party members to vote massively for SDP candidate come November governorship election.
He called on SDP stakeholders and supporters to continue to be united, steadfast and selflessly work for the success of the party at the election.
In his on remarks,Sam Abenerni, urged people to vote for Ajaka in November 11, 2023 elections.
Abenerni who is the deputy Governorship candidate further said, the SDP has good plans to improve the security and economy of Kogi state if given the mandate.
“This large crowd is a strong indicator of SDP strength in the state and our imminent victory at the November 2023 Guber polls.” he said.
Highlights of the occasion was a visit to His Royal Majesty,the Atta of Igala Kingdom, HRM Matthew Alaji Opaluwa at his palace.
