Jibrin Felicitates with Muslims Ummah On Edil-adha celebration

As Muslims all over the State and across the globe celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir, Accord Party flagbearer for November 2023 governorship election in kogi state, Retired Admiral Usman Oyibe Jibrin have congratulated Muslim community in the state.

In a statement,the former Naval Chief made available to journalists on Wednesday
called on the faithful to take cognizance of the virtues and significance of the festival and continue to exhibit obedience and total submission to the will of Allah (S.W.T).

According to him, the Eid-el-Kabir period should be used as a time for sober reflection and prayers towards Allah (S.W.T) for the progress, unity, security and peace of Kogi State.

He also stressed the importance of unity, love, care, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among the people of the State and the country in general.

He urged the Muslims to continue praying for prevailing peace on the insecurity bedeviling the country and the state.

Jibrin who is contesting the November governorship election under the platform of Accord Party ,used the occasion to assured the people of Kogi state of his determination to bring peace and stability if given the mandate.

He maintained that the milestone of his administration would be : Agriculture, Education, Security, Infrastructure, Health, Youths, and Women Empowerment.
