Hajiya Habiba Jumai Abdul’s demise is heartbreaking and will live on in our memories; without a question. Her husband, Alhaji Danladi Abdulsalam popularly called Dina, has lost a remarkable wife, late Jumai Amorley as known by friends and families alike, She was a good woman who appreciated progress and had a general interest in society ideals. She was very loving and helpful, and her constant admonition formed and fostered the desire of those near her to be steadfast in life.
Personally, her famous demeanour frequently reminded me of the importance of family values, which she supported; no doubt, such values abound in her family. Hajiya was a great woman, a magnificent soul with unrivalled courage, and a lovely personality. She welcomed me as her brother when I initially arrived in Lagos and assisted me throughout my stay. She made certain that my immediate family had the company they deserved during our stay in Lagos.
Her devotion to her family (nuclear and extended) friends kept her above board and propelled her to the ranks of compassion.
She was straightforward, dedicated to her religious commitments as well as her family institution, which identified her as a good daughter to her parents, dedicated to her husband, and committed to her children with amazing successes.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family; may Allah console her family, provide her eternal peace, and build a better life for her in the hereafter, oh Allah, The Oft Merciful.
Allahumma Ameen
