EFCC Chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa
The suspended chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa is now in the custody of Department of State Services (DSS).
This was disclosed in a press statement by DSS spokesman Dr. Peter Afunanya.
The statement titled “DSS invites MR Abdulrashed Bawa, suspended EFCC Chairman” reads, “The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
“Bawa arrived a few hours ago. The invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him.”
President Bola Tinubu had directed the suspension of Bawa on Wednesday.
