Following the Kogi West Senatorial Tribunal judgement declaring Senator Smart Adeyemi returned as Senator representing kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye has described the joy and jubilation as presently displayed by Adeyemi as a temporary victory that will soon fade in the air.
Melaye who said the blind, the deaf and every Nigerian knows what happened in kogi state during the November 16, 2019 elections in kogi state.
He has appealed to all his supporters to remain calm and not perturbed as victory lies ahead as he proceed to the appeal Court to retrieve the stolen mandate freely given to him by his constituents. “I am Dino Melaye, they don’t call me Dino for nothing. We shall laugh at the end” he said.
Melaye has challenged the result declaring Senator Smart Adeyemi the winner of the November 16/30 kogi west Senatorial election owing to the fact that he has scored the highest lawful votes in the election and ask that he be declared winner
