The Accord Party governorship Candidate in kogi state, Rtd Vice Admiral Usman Oyibe Jibrin, has congratulated kogites on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day.
In a statement he personally signed on Monday,a copy of which was obtained by THEANALYSTNG in Lokoja, Jibrin said Nigerians have a lot to celebrate as the country’s democracy has developed in the past 30 years.
He described this year’s Democracy Day as historic, coming on the eve of the November 2023 governorship election in kogi state.
The former Naval Chief expressed delight at how the citizens have embraced democratic governance in the past three decades, saying there was a lot to come in the coming years in terms of dividends of democracy if given the mandate to serve as the governor of Kogi state.
Jibrin called for the continuous support and cooperation of the people for the entrenchment and deepening of democracy in the state by voting the right candidate in the forthcoming November Guber election.
He congratulated president Tinubu and Nigerians on this auspicious occasion.
