Phone Snatch fighting: KNSG repairs street light

Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has restored major streets light in the metropolis after eight years of blackout as the lamps were switched off by the immediate past administration.

The return of street lights is part of the efforts by the new administration to tackle armed robbery, phone snatching and other criminal activities bedeviling the state especially the metropolitan Kano.

The on-going exercise started penultimate on Tuesday and will continue until every part of the state is saved from darkness that provides cover for criminal including political thugs used and dumped by the immediate past administration.

It could be recalled that Governor Yusuf has approved the formation of a Special Joint Task Force to Prevent Phone Snatching and Other Street Crimes that composed of teams of law enforcement agencies and mobile courts that would work together to clear our streets of these criminals and bring all of them to justice.
