Mrs Aliyu Rebecca Maimuna Ige,a renowned Community leader, has died at the age of 82.
In a statement signed by her eldest son, Alhaji Muhammad Aliyu, obtained by THEANALYSTNG, Said Ige died on Thursday at her unguwan Fawa residence after a brief illness.
Until her dead, Maimuna Ige as she’s popularly known, was a community leader, renown politician and elder in Cathedral of Holy Trinity Church, Lokoja, Kogi state.
She survived by seven Children :Muhammadu Aliyu,a senior education officer, Kaduna, Pastor Emmanuel Aliyu ,Aisha Aliyu,and Yusuf and many grandchildren among others.
She’ll be bury Friday ,9 June 2023 at Christian cemetery adankolo Lokoja by 4pm.
May her soul rest in peace, grant the families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost. Ameen.
