Kogi Guber 2023: Former Naval Chief Jibrin visits Attah Of Igala, seeks fatherly blessings

The Accord Party Governorship candidate and former Chief of Naval Staff, Usman Oyibe Jibrin, accompanied by teaming supporters on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Attah Of Igala, HRM Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa,to seek for his fatherly blessings for the success of his Party in November Governorship election.

In his remarks,Attah Of Igala and chairman Kogi state council of chiefs,
Matthew Alaji Opaluwa, advised politicians and seekers of political offices to imbibe the virtues of patience, perseverance, tolerance and piety in the pursuit of their ambitions.

He commended Jibrin for his contributions to the development of Igala Kingdom, stressing that as a father he’ll continue to prayer for the successful conduct of the forthcoming November governorship election and to all his children aspiring to occupy Lugard House Lokoja.

The royal father admonished leaders and politicians at all levels to strengthen their faith in God as the Ultimate Supreme Being who gives and takes away power to and from whoever he desires.

Earlier,Jibrin thanked the monarch for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage despite the short notice.

The former Naval chief, who enumerated his contributions to the development of Igala Kingdom and Kogi state, said he was at the palace for home coming to seek for royal prayers and blessings towards achieving the objective of becoming the Governor of Kogi State.

“Your Royal Majesty, my visit here is a home coming to seek for the blessings, advice and guidance of our royal father ahead of November Guber election “

The Accord Party flagbearer assured the Attah of Igala of his determination to partner with the traditional institutions in kogi state if given the mandate.

Jibrin who was welcomed by teaming supporters in itobe bridger, was accompanied to the visit by Mr Daniel Isah,former Director General,Audu/ Faleke campaign council,former police Chief ,Sule Iyaji, Senator Dangana Ocheja,former Lawmakers amongst others.
