Kogi Action Alliance(AA) Guber Candidate Braimoh, Meets Leagues Of Imams

Assures peaceful, balanced Administration if elected

The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Kogi State, Engineer Olayika Braimoh , has said that if elected, he will be governor for all Kogites irrespective of their religion.

At a meeting with the Kogi state Leagues of Imams on Friday in Lokoja, Braimoh revealed his plan to work with all competent Kogites irrespective of religion for the development of the State.

He said if given the mandate, his administration would harness the natural resources abundant in the state.

Braimoh who lamented the high levels of poverty in the state promised to create wealth through his four cardinal programs.

“My blueprints for Kogi state is creating wealth through Solid minerals, Tourism Agriculture and Youth employment ” he said.

On the huge amount of debts incurred by the present administration,the AA Guber candidate said ” we are aware of the huge debt owed by the present administration, 2023 DMO, Kogi is owing about N93.6 billion. We are confident of the fact that we’ll generate money through wealth creation to service the huge debt by renegotaing the terms of the debts so that we can move the state to the highest pedestal of development” he said.

Braimoh who was accompanied by the state party chairman of party,Alhaji Musa okumanya,restated his commitment to run a knowledge-driven government, noting that no zone or religion has a monopoly of knowledgeable and talented personalities needed to advance the development of Kogi state.

He appealed to the Clarics to join him in building new Kogi state as the task does not rest on his shoulder alone.

In his welcome address, Chairman of Kogi state Leagues of Imams, Ustaz Ibrahim Nyass Yusuf Abdullah,who appreciated the Action Alliance Guber Candidate for the honour,noted that the state Leagues of Imams has not endorsed any governorship candidate for the election.

According to him, the Council has no tradition of endorsing candidates for elections, due to their non partisan nature.

He, therefore, assured the candidate of their prayers for the successful campaign and victory at the poll and appealed to kogites to vote a credible and competent person who will lead in building a better Kogi State.

The chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Muhammadu Aminu Sha’aban, was represented by Ustaf Ibrahim Nyass Yusuf Abdullah.
