Kogi Assembly Reinstates Suspended Lokoja Local Government Chairman

The executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government council,Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed,who was suspended by the Kogi state House of assembly over an alleged financial misappropriation has been reinstated.

In a letter by the Kogi state House of Assembly signed by the Clark of the house, Alhaji Ochugodu A. Ahmed on Tuesday obtained by Theanalyst.ng said the house of assembly after its plenary sitting on Tuesday,2 May 3023,stated that after exhaustive debates, the State House of Assembly, in a unanimous consent, issued the following Resolution lifting the assembly’s Suspension Order placed on Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, Chairman Lokoja Local Government.

The letter reads”The State House of Assembly, at its plenary sitting of Tuesday, 2″ May 2023, deliberated extensively on the Report of an Investigative Committee of the

House on the allegation of Misappropanaton of Fund by the Executive Chairman and Council Leader of Lokoja Local Government Council.

After exhaustive debates, the State House of Assembly, in a unanimous consent, issued the following Resolution:

@ That the State House of Assembly’s Suspension Order placed on you, Hon. Muhammed Oansebe Muhammed, Chairman Lokoja Local Government

Council, upon the issuance of this Resolution, has been set aside, and you are consequently reinstated accordingly,

Resolved this Tuesday, 2“ Day of May 2023.

1 have the honour to convey the Resolution of the State House of Assembly reinstating you as the Chairman, Lokoja Local Government Council” the letter concluded.
