The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja Local Government, Hon. Maikudi Bature on Tuesday was full of joy as he celebrate the arrival of new born baby girl,Hadijath Abdullahi Bature.
The naming ceremony which took place at unguwan Kura family residence of the chairman, was presided over by the chief Imam of Unguwan Kura juma’a mosque, Sheikh Abubakar Adamu, was witnessed by malam Ibrahim Zakari, representatives of the chief imam of Lokoja , sheikh Muhammad Aminu Sha’aban among other Islamic clerics in and outside Lokoja.
Bature while speaking with our Reporter explained that the baby was name after her grandmother, Hajiya Khadijath Ali,Known as Aunty Iyabo who passed away last year.
He described the arrival of baby Hadijath as a blessing to the family, stressing that he can’t stop thanking God for His blessings on the families.
The ceremony was attended by the executive Chairman of Lokoja local government Council,Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed,APC leader, Alhaji Sulaiman Babadoko and DLG,Lokoja Local Government.
Others includes, Member -Elect, Lokoja/ Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye,Hon. Tijjani Shehu, Member-Elect ,Lokoja 1 state Constituency, his counterpart from Lokoja 2 constituency,Hon. Umar Aliyu Assignment, top socialites, politicians among many.
