Few hours to the conduct of Kogi State House of Assembly election, the Lokoja 1, constituency Labour Party Candidate, Hon Esther Hellen Oloyo ,has stepped down for the All Progressive Congress candidate, Hon Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani and appealed to all her supporters in the Constituents to cast their votes to Hon Bin-Ebiya.
Addressing newsmen at a conference in Lokoja, leader of the LP candidates, said their decision was to avoid dividing of votes in favour of the PDP as it happened in the last presidential and national elections.
They commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for the giant strides recorded by his administration in the areas of education, youths and women empowerment, road infrastructure among others in the state.
They restated their resolve to work round the clock to deliver their areas to Governor Yahaya Bello’s candidates and the APC in general so as to ensure consolidation of good governance by the present administration in the state.
