BREAKING: Kogi Ex-Gov, Ibrahim Idris Lost Polling Unit To …result causes crack in Omala PDP

A former governor of Kogi state and the DG of the Kogi State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, lost his polling unit to the Labour party.

The Ex-Gov who casted his votes in his country home at Abejukolo in Omala local government area of Kogi state, lost woefully to the Labour party at Unit 15.

Below is the breakdown of result for Unit 15, the polling unit of the former Governor:

PRESIDENTIAL
PDP – 61
LP – 85
APC – 41

The final results shows the PDP won Omala Omala local government with 46 Votes while the APC came second. Below is the breakdown of the Presidential election result:

APC — 6,374 Votes
PDP — 6,420 Votes
DIFFERENCE – 46 Votes

The former governor who has been in his local government area for days now, lobbying electorates to vote for his party was said to have been angry over the abysmal result gotten after the election. He was overheard saying to one of his lieutenants, “you allowed me to waste my dollars again”.

Alh. Idris was shocked at the result saying if the ruling party with no funds for mobilization could pull such votes in an election he spent a huge amount of dollars in, then he is has no credibility in the party anymore.

The Ex-Gov was said to have left his hometown in anger and caution his party men not to involve him in any political activities for now.
