Teejay Campaign Council Suspends Campaign in Kogi West In Honour of Late Joseph Dada

The Kogi West senatorial candidate,Hon. Teejay Yusuf campaign council under the platform of people’s Democratic Party, PDP, has announced the suspension of all rallies in the area for two days in honour of it party leader,Hon. Joseph Dada who passed away on Wednesday 8, February 2023.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Director General,Kogi West senatorial campaign Organisation, Hon. Hassan Salawu on Thursday and made available to THEANALYSTNG in Lokoja.

Salawu described Dada as a committed elder whose death thrown the campaign organisation in kogi West and the entire state into a Ruth shock.

The statement reads:”All campaign rallies and activities by the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), has been SUSPENDED in Kogi West Senatorial District for two (2) days in honour of our great Leader and Elder, Hon. Joseph Dada, who passed yesterday, Wednesday, February 8, 2023
The tragic and painful loss of our very dynamic, selfless, inimitable and highly resourceful Father, Elder, Leader and Counsellor, Hon. Joseph Dada, has thrown the entire campaign organisation, Kogi West and Kogi state chapter of the PDP into shock, suspense and pains. More regrettable is that, Hon. Joseph Dada was very active and visible, since the commencement of campaign activities, in all our rallies, visits and consultations to numerous towns and communities across Kogi West Senatorial District.

Further to this, and in recognition of his tremendous contributions and indomitable sacrifices to the growth and development of the PDP not only in Kogi West Senatorial District, Kogi state in general but also Nigeria, the campaign organisation has taken decision to SUSPEND FORTHWITH ALL campaign activities in Kogi West Senatorial District as a mark of honour and respect for our departed Elder, Leader and foremost, loyal party faithful; Hon. Joseph Dada.

Details as per campaign activities will be communicated to party faithful, members, associates and supporters LATER.

May God Almighty grant the soul of the departed eternal peace and rest, Amen.” Salawu prayed.
