I’m Still In Kogi West senatorial Race,Says Bukky

Kogi West senatorial candidate on the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Hon. Abubakar Ibuku Muhammed Bukky, says he is still in the Senatorial race, dismissing claims that he has withdrawn from the 2023 Kogi West senatorial contest.

Bukky made the declaration in an interview he granted journalists in Lokoja on Monday.

He encouraged his supporters not to entertain fear, adding he was working tirelessly to emerge as the senator representing Kogi West senatorial under the platform of NNPP come February this year.

Bukky, who is optimistic about wining the forthcoming elections, described as mischief, report that he has withdrawn from the race.

He maintained further that those who planted the report were jittery about his political popularity, acceptance and dominance in kogi West political space, hence they cooked the fake report to create confusion due to lack of popularity.

“ No amount of sponsored lies by some candidates would distract us from our quest to rescue the people of Kogi West

Contrary to fabrications against my wide accepted ambition to answer the calls of our people, permit me to restate for the pleasure of progressive Kogi West people that the falsehood trending currently that I have dropped my ambition to run for Kogi Senatorial District is false” he said

The withdrawal reports,Bukky said are mere handiwork of politicians and massive gains since he joined the race.

Bukky who was on campaign tour, thanked the people of Kogi West for their unalloyed support and urged them to maintained the tempo
