Ahead of the 2023 Presidential Election, the Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Sen. Smart Adeyemi has donated the sum of N2 million to the North Central Women for Tinubu- Shettima Campaign Team.⁰
The money , according to statement is to assist the group to mobilize supporters in the entire North Central Geopolitical Zone for the APC in the forthcoming General election.
The Women in an expected large turnout rally slated for Tuesday, 27th December in Iyara, Kogi State to fashion a way forward for the supports of Tinubu-Shetima.
One of the Women Leader, who spoke to journalists Mrs Balogun Yemisi, expressed her appreciation to Sen. Smart Adeyemi who is also a Member of NEC in APC National Secretariat for contributing Millions towards the success of the Women’s rally.
She described Adeyemi as a core loyalist of Tinubu and ardent Shetima supporter who believes in the traits and the qualities of the Party’s flag bearers.
Yemisi further said Sen. Adeyemi believes Tinubu- Shetima joint ticket will reposition Nigeria for Social Economic Transformation and Development in all sectors such as Agriculture, Health, Job Creation, Finance, Transportation and Rural Development.
She said Nigeria will know on Tuesday that APC is the only party that believes in carrying the Women along in their agenda.
