Kogi West senatorial District: We Didn’t Abandoned Lokoja

Kogi West senatorial candidate on the platform of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Teejay Yusuf has called on supporters to maintain resolve on winning the election as he was in to win.

This is following some erroneous propaganda been circulated by some mischief makers, alleging that Hon Teejay have abandoned PDP members in Lokoja and Kogi local governments areas.

In a statement obtained by THEANALYSTNG in Lokoja, on Wednesday, Teejay Campaign Council explained that the campaign trail have been on the move since the banned on campaign was lifted by INEC.

Hon. Teejay campaign trail visited Lokoja local government, precisely Oworo ward where he met with supporters, stakeholders and members of the party where issues based and people driven were discussed

Part of the statement read; It’s disheartening to accused hon Teejay Yusuf of abandoning Lokoja and Kogi Local Government Areas,our principal sees Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency as his home.
For a PDP member to make such unfounded allegations against our party flagbearer is a clear testimony that they’re already in the opposite direction.

“Our grassroots prowess and strategic planning ability would gave Hon Teejay Yusuf victory, especially in Lokoja/ Kogi Federal Constituency,the intruders knows it. Teejay have tremendous respect for the good people of Lokoja, irrespective of political and religious affiliations.

“To all our supporters, volunteers and campaign staff, please disregard such lies for it is meant to distract us from the good progress we are making. If you are not making meaningful impacts, nobody will talk about you” the statement concluded.
