Kogi Guber: Group drums support for Kasim, says he has formidable Experience, Credentials

A political support group, “Lokoja/ Kogi Advocacy For Good Governance” (LKAFGG) has thrown its weight behind Kogi state pioneer Chairman of CPC, Hon. Muhammad Mabo Kasim candidate, saying that the Kasim stands the better chance to win the 2024 Kogi Governorship election if given the mandate.

President of the group,Hon. Sulaiman Aliyu made the declaration in a press statement issued in Lokoja on Monday

According to the statement, Muhammed Mabo Kasim who is aspiring under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is the candidate to beat due to his experience and acceptability across the state.

“With an exceptional track records of performance who contested election under the zerovparty platform and won, exceptional leadership credentials as chairman of defunct All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP) and CPC, there’s is no surprise why he is the candidate to beat” he said.

He, however, said there was need to make efforts to convince more kogites , particularly our brothers from Kogi East and Central senatorial Districts on the immense contributions of Kogi West senatorial District, especially Lokoja Kogi/ Federal Constituency that always delivered the wining votes since the inception of democracy in 1999.

“All that is needed is to get even more kogites to see the need to elect a proven achiever.

“We shall respectfully make many more kogites see that to ensure a landslide victory if Kasim emerge as the flagbearer for APC come march 2024,” Aliyu vowed.

He described Kasim as a detribalized, self-confident, liberal and independent minded; with an unbiased flair.

“These are exceptionally strong qualities that undoubtedly qualify him as the best suited of all the candidates for a time as this,” the statement concluded.
