Ahead of 2023 general elections,the campaign trail of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Igalama Odolu / Ofu/ Idah Federal Constituency, Hon. Egbunu Yusuf, berth at Onyedega, Ibaji LGA of Kogi.
The campaign team was received by mammoth crowds of party supporters across the area with fanfare, drumming and songs.
Among those on ground to receive the candidate is the House of Assembly candidate, Hon Peter Egwuda, state Woman leader Hajiya Maryam Yakubu Akpidi, the Ibaji LGA chairman of the party, Elder Friday Achuba and Excos including all the ward chairmen and the wards Excos of the party.
Addressing the mammoth crowds at Onyedega, Hon Amanabo call on the people of the area to vote New Nigeria People’s NNPP for the progress of the Igala land, the state and Nigeria in general.
He said the people of the area have suffered degradation, marginalisation and backwardness in the hands of PDP and APC stressing that it’s time for the people to embrace the NNPP for a new lease of life and development.
In her remarks, the state Woman leader Hajiya Maryam Yakubu Akpidi, said it’s time for the people to change the change and the status quo. S
Maryam who spoke extensively, called on Ibaji women to support and vote NNPP in the forthcoming general election from Presidential to House of Assembly while the chairman, Elder Friday Achuba promised that NNPP is going to sweep the entire Ibaji LGA.
Hon Amanabo is on the campaign tour of all the four LGAs that made up the constituency which are Idah, Ofu, Igalamela Odolu and Ibaji.
