Nigeria’s fight against the deadly covid-19 pandemic took a twist following record of over 500 new cases, the highest so far since infection pierced into the country.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Africa’s most populous nation harvested 553 new cases on Saturday.
Lagos is still the worst hit with a total of 9855 cases in Nigeria at the moment.
