Chigari Of Lokoja Preaches Peace among Muslims, urges Youths To Shun Violence Act

CHIGARIN LAKWAJA

The Chigari of Lokoja, Assistant Commissioner of Police(ACP) Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi has advised Muslim ummah in Kogi state and Lokoja Emirate in particular to reflect on the lesson of sacrifice.

Chigari gave the advised in an interview with Newsmen in Lokoja on Sunday.

He also called on Nigerians regardless of religious affiliation or ethnic lineage to cohabit with one another peacefully and shun utterances that may further cause insecurity and tension in the country.

He further called on the people of the state to reflect on the teachings of sacrifice and be their brother’s keepers at all times.

Sanusi advised youths in the area to use the period of celebration to embrace peace and abstain from violence.

He urged them not to be an agent of violence or indulge in any criminal or unwarranted act.

Sanusi,who is a member of Lokoja traditional title holders council and serving ASCP, said youths should engage in a fruitful ventures adding that,
“They should understand that they are not supposed to be an agent of violence or indulge in any criminal acts or getting links into banditry and unwarranted act.” he advised.

He felicitated with His Royal Highest the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111, members of Lokoja title holders council and the entire Lokoja Emirate council on this year’s Edil-Kabir celebration.
