The Dan Darma of Lokoja, Barrister Ahmed Nasser , has called on Muslims to exhibit more commitment to Nigeria’s frightening insecurity in their prayer supplications at Eid-el-Kabir.
This was contained in a Sallah message signed by Naseer on Saturday,and obtained by THEANALYSTNG in Lokoja.
Nasser saluted the Muslim Ummah for their unquantifiable contributions to national unity and development, thereby sustaining the national fabric and urged them to increase the tempo for the country to reach the destination it deserves.
He congratulated the Maigari of Lokoja, Dr. Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111, stressing that the Royal father always show of compassion and consistency in supporting the less privileged through his selfless service need to be commended.
He equally acclaimed the Maigari’s critical roles as an inspiration to the younger generation, and prayed Almighty Allah to continue to guide the traditional ruler and grant him more wisdom to discharge his roles further
“Let me congratulate our Muslim brothers on this year’s occasion of Eid-el-Kabir and call their attention to the fact that this celebration must be more of seeking God’s face for quick intervention in the affairs of our nation, rather than the fanfare that used to accompany it” Barr. Naseer said.
