Eid el-Kabir: Danman of Lokoja greets Muslim faithful

By Aliyu Abdulwahid

As the Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid el-Kabir, the Danman of Lokoja, Alhaji Baba Muhammed Sule, has urged Muslims to emulate the resilience, patience and steadfastness, as well as absolute faith in Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

The Danman, in a statement he personally signed and made available to THEANALYSTNG in Lokoja on Saturday, said the festival which is symbolised by the slaughtering of rams as commanded by Allah, should be used to further foster unity and spread love and peaceful co- existence in the Lokoja Emirate council and the state at large.

He felicitated with His Royal Highest, the Maigari of Lokoja, members of Lokoja traditional council and the entire Lokoja Muslim community on this auspicious occasion and urged them to be their brothers keepers as preaches by the prophetic hadiths.
