Member representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, Executive Chairman Of Lokoja Local government, Hon. Danasabe Muhammed Danasabe, former Administrator of Lokoja local government,Hon Shiru Lawal, Chieftains of political parties,several dignitaries on Tuesday attended combined Fidau Prayers for late father of APC candidate for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency Candidate, Hon Danladi Suleiman Aguye.
Late Pa Yunusa Aguye passed away Monday and was buried at his country home, Karara, according to Islamic rites.
The dignitaries who graces the occasion includes: The Ohirigo of Karara,Malam Ismail Zakari, Representative of the Agankyu of kakanda,Alhaji Iliyasu Waziri, NNPP senatorial candidate Hon Bukky, who was represented by Comrade Musa Babaanini and Hon Jimoh fancy.
Others are, Deputy Majority leader,Kogi state house of assembly and member representing Lokoja 1 constituency,Hon. Isah Umar, Hon. Umar assignment,Tijjani Shehu, APC Chairman Lokoja Local Government,Hon. Maikudi Bature, Isiaku Kasim, traditional title holders, NNPP and PDP chairmen, chieftains of the political major parties amongst many.
In his sermon, the Chief Imam of Karara, Malam Adama Alkali, cautioned those saddled with the responsibilities of leading the people to live a life of service to humanity, adding that the world is like a bridge.
Alkali described the deceased as a devoted Muslim and a community leader whose advise would be missed.
he Chief Imam who extolled the virtues of the deceased prayed Allah to forgive and grant her eternal rest.
In his remarks, Khalifa Arif Yabagi, who was represented by Sarkin Zakirai of Kogi state, Alhaji Abdulwahid Yabagi, cautioned Muslims against injustice.
According to him, everybody, irrespective of your status will all be brought before God on judgement day on the basis of their deeds, adding that only those who live a worthy life will have people who will intercede on their behalf for God to give them peace.
He called on leaders to always remember the day they will drive all alone without sirens, orderlies, security and be caught up in the traffic.
In his remarks, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, described late Aguye as a father and very good man.
The lawmaker, who condoled the families of Pa Aguye, said the community and general public will surely miss him and prayed Allah to grant him eternal rest.
