Senator Karimi Women Connect Extends Humanitarian Support to Patients in Lokoja Hospital

Patients at a public hospital in Lokoja received a boost on Thursday as members of Karimi Women Connect Lokoja-Koto distributed cash to support their medical care.

The group, made up of women supporters of Senator
Steven Sunday Karimi, said the gesture was part of its commitment to community service and easing the financial burden on vulnerable families.

Led by the coordinator, Hon. Mamiyo, of the association visited several wards, where they handed out cash gifts to patients struggling with medical bills and drug purchases.

Speaking during the outreach, the coordinator Mamiyo said:

“Healthcare remains a challenge for many of our people. We are here to show love and assist in a small but meaningful way. Karimi Women Connect believes in reaching out directly to those in need.”

Hospital management lauded the initiative, describing it as a timely act of kindness. Patients and their relatives, visibly moved by the donations, expressed gratitude and prayed for the group’s continued success.

The Karimi Women Connect Lokoja-Koto group has in recent times embarked on similar community-focused activities, with members reaffirming their resolve to sustain humanitarian interventions in the areas of health and education.
