The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has vowed to lead a new coalition movement capable of securing victory in Kogi State, with the youth as its driving force.
Hon. Quincy Adams, a prominent chieftain of the ADC, gave this assurance while speaking with THEANALYSTMEDIA reporter in Lokoja over the weekend.
According to Adams, the ADC represents a platform for fresh ideas and inclusive governance, one that recognizes the central role of young people in shaping the state’s political future.
“The ADC is not just another party on the ballot; it is the people’s platform. The youth are its heartbeat, and together, we will power a coalition strong enough to deliver victory for the people of Kogi,” he said.
He stressed that the party is building alliances across political and social groups, designed to break the grip of entrenched power structures and open space for grassroots leadership.
Adams, who holds the traditional title of HARDON BIRNI OF LOKOJA further explained that the coalition strategy was not about short-term gains but about creating a sustainable path to good governance. He argued that a united front anchored on youth participation would be decisive in the forthcoming elections.
“Victory is not achieved by noise but by strategy. We are building an inclusive and unshakable coalition. With unity and the strength of our young people, the ADC will triumph,” he declared.
Several youth representatives at the event hailed Adams’ remarks, describing them as timely and inspiring. They pledged their readiness to mobilize communities ahead of 2027 elections.
He concluded with a renewed call on young people across Kogi to register, participate actively in the political process, and vote in line with their conscience.
