The Kogi state Commissioner for Solid Mineral and Natural resources, Hon. Engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has welcomed a new addition to his family with the arrival of his baby boy, Muhammad Khalifa Affan.
The joyous occasion was marked with a grand celebration that drew dignitaries, political associates, traditional rulers, family, and well-wishers.
The event, held at the commissioner’s country home Gegu, was filled with well wishers and prayers as the community gathered to share in the family’s happiness.
In his remarks,Engineer Gegu expressed gratitude for the safe arrival of the Affan,who acording to him is named after his late Father thanked God, his family, and the community for their unwavering support. “This is a moment of great joy for my household. We name him Abubakar Khalifa Affan, and we pray he grows to be a blessing not only to our family but to Kogi State and Nigeria at large,” he said.
Leaders from across the state who gathered in Gegu,Kogi local government, commended the commissioner for his commitment to family and community values, noting that the celebration highlighted unity and goodwill among the people.
