Maigari of Lokoja and Chairman Lokoja Local government Council of Chiefs, HRH.Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, on Tuesday led other dignitaries includes ,Ona of Abaji, HRM. Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, Gomo of Kuje, His Royal Highness Dr. Haruna Tanko Jibrin II,Eje of Dekina,ofun and Ohi of Ajaokuta to Elette for the Seven- day Fida’u Prayers for the repose of late Etsu Of Elette, HRH. Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad who passed away last week.
The prayer session was led by the Chief Imam of Lokoja Central Mosque, Imam Muhammad Aminu Sha’aban, and was aimed at seeking Allah’s forgiveness for the shortcomings of the late Emir.
Speaking at the occasion, chairman of Ajaokuta local government,Hon. Ali Ahmed extolled the virtues of the deceased and announced that the Council have concluded all plans for the welfare of the bereaved family.
Hon.Ahmed acknowledged the late Etsu’s contributions to Ajaokuta local government and his commitment to peace and development of his community.
