The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu on Tuesday received Kogi State Local Government Auditor General, Yakubu Adabenege, who was on a working visit to the council.
Comrade Adamu who received the Local Government auditor general,
extols the simple and friendly disposition of Hon Adabenege lifestyle which said is worthy of emulation.
He recall their long standing relationship from their time as Personal Assistants, pointing out that Hon. Fancy has continued to typify patience, hard work and resourcefulness.
The Chairman used the visit to appreciate the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji. Ahmed Usman Ododo on his huge investment in the area of security and his concerted efforts to rid Lokoja Local Government and other Local Governments facing insecurity challenges.
In his remarks, Hon. Adabenege commended the Chairman and his Local Government Management led by the DLG Mallam Musa Omuwa, the treasurer, Mrs. Ayodele Peace not only for their hardwok, unity, prioritizing financial responsibility, accountability and efficient fund utilization.
He expressed his satisfaction with the day to day running affairs in Lokoja Local Government council under the leadership of Comrade Abdullahi Adamu.
Adabenege appealed to the local government staffers to continue to work together as a team for the benefit of the local government and the state.
