In response to the recent menaces of kidnapping between Karara, Magajiya villages along the Lokoja-Abuja road, the Lokoja Local Government Council Chairman,Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has commenced the building of temporary Security Posts along the Federal highway targeting the specific routes used by the kidnappers.
The Posts, in addition to a stationed Security team are a few of the numerous proactive steps taken by the Local Government Chairman to ensure safety of the residents of these communities and travelers.
Recall that on July, 10th, the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu convened a strategic meeting with heads of community-based grkkjjjjjjj0hhhoups in Lokoja Local Government suburban where several measures were put in place to curb insecurity in the areas.
Comrade Adamu has also dedicated a joint special squad from the Kogi State Vigilante Service, Hunter and Vigilante Groups and security vehicles on a 24hrs patrol along the route.
The Council Boss assured motorists and residents that the local government will continue to do it utmost best to ensure safety of lives and properties.
