Maigari Of Lokoja Turban Ali Zaki Inuwa Muazu As Galadiman Pawa Of Lokoja

The Maigari of Lokoja and chairman of Lokoja traditional Council, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir, Maikarfi IV, has turbaned Alhaji Ali Zaki Inuwa Muazu As Galadiman Pawa Of Lokoja.

The turbaning ceremony took place at maigari’s palace at Lokoja on Sunday, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Kabir called on indigenes and residents of Lokoja community to remain peaceful, progress-minded in their daily activities.

The event, which also served as the continuation of celebration of Idiel Kabir festival showcased the tradition and cultural displays of Lokoja community, where His Royal Highness noted that every indigenes have greater roles to play in the development of Lokoja and kogi state.

Alhaji Kabir further said “Today is a joyous day for us as we celebrate Sallah and turbanning ceremony of Alhaji Ali Zaki, We urge everyone, both indigenes and residents of Lokoja to remain peaceful as always, be progress-minded and continue to support the present Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.”

Speaking after the event, Ali Zaki Inuwa Muazu, who was turbaned as the Galadiman Pawa Of Lokoja thanked Maigari of Lokoja for his consideration and appointment as Galadiman of Lokoja”,

He said, “I am happy to be trubaned as the Galadiman Pawa Of Lokoja. Following my turbaning, I will contribute my quota in ensuring the growth and development of Lokoja community”.

He however show appreciation to friends, family members and associates who attended the colourful occasion, ” I thank everyone for making this occasion successful”, he stressed.

Biography of Ali Zaki,the Galadiman Fawa

Ali Inuwa Muazu (aka) Ali Zaki was born to his parents, the late Alhaji Muazu Sarkin Pawa Yaro and Hajiya Rekiya Usman, on the 12th of June1970. He commenced his formal education at Ma‘ahadi LSMB Primary School in 1976 subsequently gaining admission to Muslim Community Secondary School in 1984

Following a hiatus,he resumed his studies and successfully obtained his WEAC at govt Day secondary school,Adankolo,in 1994.

Throughout his formative years, Alhaji Ali become widely recognized for his afforded him the distint advantage in both political and community engagement.

He emerged as an active participant in the Peoples Democratic Party during it nascent stages,serving as the Vice-Chairman of Ward ‘D’ and was among the APC stakeholders additional, he held the esteemed position of Chairman of the Disciplinary committee lokoja Butchers Development Association.

Fervor for community advancement is evident in his substantial contributions and effective operation of the Old Market, International Market and kpata market.
