As Muslims in Lokoja emirate council joined their counterparts across the world to commemorate the sacred Eid-el-Adha, the Barde of Lokoja, Alhaji Tanimu Abubakar Sadiq, has extended warm greetings to HRH. the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, members of Lokoja traditional title holders and Muslims Ummah across Lokoja local government area.
In his Sallah message, which he personally signed on Friday and made available to ThEANLYSTNG in Lokoja,he encouraged Muslims to reflect on the values of sacrifice, obedience, and faith that define the festival.
He emphasized the significance of forgiveness, compassion, and unity, particularly in the face of current challenges facing Nigeria, including insecurity and economic difficulties.
Sadiq,who hold the traditional title of Barde of Lokoja,called on Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity, not just for themselves, but for Lokoja emirate council,state and entire nation.
He urged the Muslim ummah to recommit themselves to the principles of sacrifice, faith, and obedience, which he believes are crucial to building a stable and united community.
A philanthropist,Sadiq also encouraged Muslims to show kindness to those in need, especially the poor and vulnerable, and to foster stronger ties within their communities.
