In continuation of his empowerment and capacity building,the SSA to kogi state governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo ,Hon.Abdulrahman Hussain Gentle on Sunday empowered 1,500 women, youths and venerable persons with textiles materials and cash .
Speaking during the distribution exercise of the empowerment materials, commissioner of solid mineral resources, engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu commended Abdulrahman Gentle for the initiatives
Engineer Gegu who donated N500,000,said the empowerment program will go a long way in adding value to the credible efforts of Governor Ododo in the human and physical development in the state.
He called on all politicians in the state to emulate Abdulrahman Gentle for the state to move forward.
Also speaking, commissioner for water resources, Engineer Farouk commended honourable gentle and donated the sum of N200,000.as part of him contributions to the program.
Others who spoke at the occasion includes, Lokoja local government Chairman ,comrade Abdullahi Adamu ,APC Lokoja Local Government Chairman,Hon. Maikudi Bature,party chieftains among others
Some of the beneficiaries who spoken to our reporter thanked hon Abdulrahman Hussain Gentle and called on other political office holders to elemute him.
